A plain account of what happens to anything you send through this website.

What arrives here

Only what you choose to put in a call, an email or the form. In practice that is a name, a way of reaching you back, the address of the property and a few sentences about what the pavement is doing. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is needed.

Ordinary web server logs may record which pages were requested and the general region a request came from. That is read to work out which pages are earning their place and for no other reason.

What it is used for

Getting back to you, and arranging for someone to come and look at the property. There is no second purpose.

Who else sees it

This site introduces Richmond-area property owners to an asphalt contractor working the metro. When you ask for that introduction, your enquiry is passed to that contractor so they can answer you directly. It is not sold, and it does not go to anyone with no part in your enquiry.

How long it is kept

For as long as your enquiry is live and any work that follows from it, and not meaningfully longer.

What you can ask for

To be told what is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it removed. Write to admin@shockoeasphalt.com and it will be dealt with.
